WA, Australia

Hey guys,

Just trying to find some information in regards to changing the front of my SE Ute to something like an XR6 or GT front or anything to that degree.

Searching around so far I will need to swap my standard headlights over to XR headlights, is this a simple swap over?

after that, I will need front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper and I suppose a bonnet if I want to go that far. Sound right so far?

Also anyone know the average price going for any of these parts?
Cheers

there are plenty of places who sell body kits. My mk2 ba has been modified and fitted with BF xr6 bumper. I paid $1600 with lights and driving lights which included painting and fitting. If your in the Melbourne area i got mine from Spoilers Gaulour "excuse the spelling". The shop used to be in Preston but has since closed and he generally works from mobile van. With the bonnet, my advise is don't bother as i have tried that idea in the past but due to s**t manufacturing and given its made from fibre glass they never fit and will no doubt suffer from cracks.

you can actually get a GT front bar that suits the non XR headlights, that may also be an option for you?
unless of course you want the XR lights to..

It depends how fussy you are. I bought a fibre glass pursuit kit for my ute and wasn't overly impressed with it so i never got around to putting it on. If i do decide to get a kit it will be genuine, fits straight up, looks better, won't crack or sag but will cost you a lil more
