Is it possible to put BA rims on an EL ? and also how much would it cost to get a full set, second hand , or new?

You can do it but you need an adaptor from Ford, $75 per wheel. From the AU onward they changed the studd pattern. My neighbour tried to swap EF XR6 with a AUII XR6, they didn't fit so he rang Ford and thats when he found out. Yes you can do it.

Since when huh ??, maybe safer still not legal, ring your local traffic authority or ask your insurance company.
