Hi guys/gals

Sorry if this has been asked before, wandering if a BA XR8 set of 18" wheels would fit directly onto a 97 EL Fairmont.

Thanks in advance

:)

Where do you get replica's with the correct offset? Ebay is an obvious one but are there any other places?

I am looking for the following style:

Try giving The Tyre Factory a call?

I think South Melbourne is the closest to you: 9686 8973

{DESCRIPTION}

If you can get them from a proper supplier, they'll probably be able to help you.

The Cheltenham store helped me out with a set of 18" wheels (not the ones you're looking for, though) in the correct offset for $1600 with a set of Falken tyres ($190 per corner), balanced and fitted.

I had replica BA XR 17's from The Tyre factory on my EA. $1250 fitted with rubber. They definately can get the replicas. They also do GT and typhoon replicas.

Just got off the phone to TTF, they can set me up on the Replica rims that I want for 1600 I think it was. Should hav written it down :(

But He also gave me a quote for suspension, they can get the car on king spring superlows and shocks for 800, which is 200 cheaper than Pedders..

So might get both done in the same day :)

so $2400 is an alright outing for one day since im not Paris Hilton, but I think it is reasonable enough since I cannot do it myself and it is proffesional.

U think its not too much for Lowering + 4x Wheels

1280 was the quote i got from pedders for the 'sports ryder kit'

Thats a decent price on the suspension. Not bad for the rims either, as long as that includes rubber. Even if you went Ebay, you'd probably only save a couple of hundred and still need to organise tyres.

Jesus.... Superlows and shocks for $800 fitted? That is cheap. What shocks are they going to put in?

$1600 for wheels and rubber is cheap.... provided it's decent rubber.

Considering you pay at least $200 per corner for decent tyres, that's $800 already.... Rims for $800 is cheap.

The wheels I got for that price are in my gallery.

18 x 8", pre-AU offset.

<---

I got the last set in the country and I'm not sure King Wheels are making more or not. 8-)

Yeah I already checked em out lol theyre nice.

Not sure what the shocks are but I suspect they will do the job lol.

Yeah I asked what tyres they come with and I can't remember what he said, it wasn't a familiar or household name that I knew, but he said if I wanted to spend a bit extra I could go better again, said something about a Japanese brand, wasn't Yokahoma, Toyo.. maybe something starting with H...

Thats what happens when u get called back while on the loo, can't right s**t down LMAO

I suppose the tyres will be decent enogh and they have a pretty big range.
