if you check out www.capa.com.au, they do kits for the 4.0l six @ $6000 approx, more for intercooler. The kits rated @ 305Kw and their testing gets around 230rKw. still look'n round though for different options though :)

I sure am, I've already started but short of purchasing a capa tuner, i'm running out of N/A performance mods.

I've seen XR6T's as low as $20k with ~ 100,000km on them.. surely it would be cheaper and more viable due to engineering and insurance to just buy an XR6T?

get some mates who are spray painters and your looking at a few hundred for paint. the kit your probably look at say 700ish un painted plus freight. you could go bit by bit, eg the side skirts are $220 from AWC, you can modify your rear bar with a rear skirt from ford that costs about $180 and then you just need to find a front bumper which go for anywhere between $200 and $500. your better off with original plastic as it flexes better than fibreglass which tends to just crack.

If you buy a fibreglass kit, prep, paint and fit you're looking at upwards of $1000.00. An genuine XR kit you could have painted for less than that though.
