Plexus for all your plastic needs... ie headlights....

Would Plexus be good for cleaning the plastic face of the dash cluster? Mine has some hard to remove spots and normal cleaning agents like Windex don't do s**t. Will Plexus be good for that?

mmm, thanks guys, so meguiars (sp) or mothers.

kewl, series 500 is that like really expensive??

ill give em all a go eventually...im using armor all heavy duty car wash atm cos ive been using this cheap s**t, ive used it once now and i noticed a huge difference, it came up alot better

once ive finished this bottle ill try the meguiars, is there a specific type that does a good job??

like with armor all they have all these different types, such as new car gel, wash and wax, normal car cleaner & of course, heavy duty car cleaner.

best types??

oh anyone who uses heavy duty car wash be careful, it makes the tyres really slippery even when its rinsed off.

thanks bye!!

If your talking Meguiars Detailer Line, I'd agree with ya but the rest is overpriced.
Can get a good finish with them but won't last a year or more like mine

OK my full list of products at present

Detailers Pride Auto Wash 3.78 Litre $30 USD

(lasts up to 1000 km's) and is a super polymer tyre sealant
Apply it very thin and is awesome on rubber seals and vinyl

Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant (super polymer)
Poorboys World EXP pure sealant
" " SSR 3.0, 2.5, 2.0 and 1.0 swirl and scratch removers
" " Pro Polish (vinyl, glass, rubber, wheels, metal, paint)

COMING SOON

Winners Circle Products
Adams Products
Meguiars Detailer line (higher than professional grade stuff)

Check out my photo gallery, the first photo was taken the other day, under flouro lights it's the same as seen in the photo.
All done by hand too.

Now I'm not saying meguiars or mothers is crap, not at all. Plastx is great and so is california gold but for the price you pay for meguiars in 473ml bottle, you could get a 500ml to 3.78 litre container of the stuff I use which hardly no one in australia knows of (it's slowly getting there)

The stuff is easier to use, you use less and best of all, environmentally safe and safe for your lungs.
With some surface prep, three to seven layers of klasse sg and then a couple of four star, poorboys, wolfgang etc, you can have a finish that looks an inch deep with metal flakes standing out big time.

I invite you all to autopia.org and detail city.com.
Will open your eyes a bit. Check out some of the pics in the gallery and car show section

The only thing I dislike about that is other people scratching your car for you

Plenty of amateur detail shops around the place.
Nothing like doing it yourself, stand back and get blinded by the shine after your done.

Another one for Meguires.

I have found the Soft Wash Gel and Wax's to be great for the cars finish.

Also try Autoglym spray show finish. It's awesome for car shows or trade displays etc...

Yeh, always wondered how expensive it would be to do the entire car in Harlequin paint. Can you give us an idea?
