Would Plexus be good for cleaning the plastic face of the dash cluster? Mine has some hard to remove spots and normal cleaning agents like Windex don't do s**t. Will Plexus be good for that?

mmm, thanks guys, so meguiars (sp) or mothers.
kewl, series 500 is that like really expensive?? ill give em all a go eventually...im using armor all heavy duty car wash atm cos ive been using this cheap s**t, ive used it once now and i noticed a huge difference, it came up alot better once ive finished this bottle ill try the meguiars, is there a specific type that does a good job?? like with armor all they have all these different types, such as new car gel, wash and wax, normal car cleaner & of course, heavy duty car cleaner. best types?? oh anyone who uses heavy duty car wash be careful, it makes the tyres really slippery even when its rinsed off. thanks bye!!

If your talking Meguiars Detailer Line, I'd agree with ya but the rest is overpriced.
Can get a good finish with them but won't last a year or more like mine OK my full list of products at present All of these smell beautiful and contain no alcohol, ammonia, silicone, teflon or acid Detailers Pride Gel wheel cleaner - 3.78 Litre - $25 USD Detailers Pride Auto Wash 3.78 Litre $30 USD Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel 1.89 Litre (lasts up to 1000 km's) and is a super polymer tyre sealant Apply it very thin and is awesome on rubber seals and vinyl Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant (super polymer) Poorboys World EXP pure sealant " " SSR 3.0, 2.5, 2.0 and 1.0 swirl and scratch removers " " Pro Polish (vinyl, glass, rubber, wheels, metal, paint) Pinnacle Pacer Amazing Glaze paint sealant Dura Glaze (sealant for glass, rubber, vinyl, plastic, metals and paints) Four Star UPC paintwork cleanser (solvent free) Four Star UPP super polymer sealant Klasse All In One cleaner, polish and protectant (basecoat sealant) Klasse Sealant Glaze (chip proof acrylic sealant) Clay Magic original formula clay bars (for use on paint and glass) Clearkote vanilla moose (removes oxidation from all surfaces) Turns brown, dried up seals into jet black ones and stays that way Clearkote Chocolate Moose - residue free wax that you put on and take off in 30 seconds with no residue at all Can also use it to clean bad stains of interior vinyl and plastic Aquatouch 240 - 300,000 fibre per inch ultra microfibre cloths and towels Autoglym 01B Finishing polish and protectant Autoglym 07B Strawberry Jam plastic, vinyl and rubber cleaner protectant (one of my favourite products for faded exterior plastics) Blue Magic natural look non greasy vinyl protectant PPG Paints cutting compounds and final glaze polish Menzerna IP & FP blemish removing polishes Dinitrol 7020 Wet Look polish (solvent free) $20 for 1 litre (last you donkeys years) AUTOSMART glass glow residue free glass polish G101 degreaser Carnuaba gold cream wax P21S paintwork cleansing lotion and concourse carnauba wax (america's best hard wax) Diamondite Glass repair system (at home glass repair) Omikron Liquid wax, RD black wheel arch anti rust paint, bodyseal polymer paint sealant Sonus SFX 1, 2 and 3 paint refinishing system Acrylic spritz - keeps the klasse sg sealant topped up Magnum Top Gear (australian) Lustre Power sealant $20 for 1 litre Diamond Kote - protectant for almost any surface Non silicone polish Final Glaze wet look polish Lemon Deodoriser Super Strength shampoo - 10 ml per 10 litres of water Ultra fine color restorer 3M Liquid Wax, imperial hand glaze, ph neutral shampoo, perfect it II compounds COMING SOON Winners Circle Products Adams Products Meguiars Detailer line (higher than professional grade stuff) Check out my photo gallery, the first photo was taken the other day, under flouro lights it's the same as seen in the photo. All done by hand too. Now I'm not saying meguiars or mothers is crap, not at all. Plastx is great and so is california gold but for the price you pay for meguiars in 473ml bottle, you could get a 500ml to 3.78 litre container of the stuff I use which hardly no one in australia knows of (it's slowly getting there) The stuff is easier to use, you use less and best of all, environmentally safe and safe for your lungs. With some surface prep, three to seven layers of klasse sg and then a couple of four star, poorboys, wolfgang etc, you can have a finish that looks an inch deep with metal flakes standing out big time. I invite you all to autopia.org and detail city.com. Will open your eyes a bit. Check out some of the pics in the gallery and car show section

Plenty of amateur detail shops around the place.
Nothing like doing it yourself, stand back and get blinded by the shine after your done.

Another one for Meguires.
I have found the Soft Wash Gel and Wax's to be great for the cars finish. Also try Autoglym spray show finish. It's awesome for car shows or trade displays etc...
