Nahhh, the way to to approach doing up a car is to do it up and show it off for a particular period of time then once that stage has passed you just drive it like a normal car and let it wear normally and enjoy your motoring.

With you there, house of kolor paints are one of the best
Tom Pruett of Damon's house of paints, featured on monster garage mixes up some crazy but awesome metal flake finishes I've ever seen Better than your run of the mill orange peel PPG 2K or Holden commodore baked enamel PPG ceramiclear clear coated paints are the next best along with Du Pont Some acrylic laquer paints are excellent also. The worst is the acrylic stuff used on daihatsu terios vehicles, major orange peel

I get the front bar re-sprayed every 12 months (or mroe often) as needed. It costs a few hundred dollars but it's the only way to keep the car in nice looking condition. Mind you there is still a few stone chips on the bonnet etc... but thats what you get for a daily driver and not a show car. And please dont anyone suggest a car bra.

What about a car bra.......... ha ha lol sorry i just had to say it. yeah fair enuf if your car is show/daily driver makes it more interesting that way too. Unlike people with showcars who have them transported everywhere coz they would be too scared to get it scratched...

If using a car bra, wrap the front in cling wrap first. Without it most bra's get dirt in them while travelling and act like sandpaper
Half a dozen layers of Klasse SG sealant will stop the stone chips unless you get hit by a bloody big one.
