hi guys

just putting it out there i kno very little about exhaust systems :?
but i am wanting to fit one to a 2004 XR6 BA falcon.

im wanting to do the whole lot, extractors etc. and wondering which sounds best, wanting it to sound mean with alot of grunt..?

any suggestions??

chop the center muffler out, best option for cool p platers.

Ride: EA SVO, AU2, Toyota Crown

when you fit full exhaust to BA's they throw up and engine light until you get a tune. so it'd probably be best to do intake side mods etc then do the exhaust and then get a tune

Not quite right mate, the BA's are ok as they only have one o2 sensor, its the BF's that throw up the engine light and thats if you replace the stock cat with a high flow one

oh ok thanks for that..
ah yeh not really too sure on how much im spending at the moment coz im not too sure as to what im getting.. brand n stuff..! not really gonna be an issue in the end coz im gonna get a loan to pay for it.

Just yeh dont wanna spend a whole lot of money on something that sounds like a f@rt! haha

ive got pacemaker 4490s-100cpi h/flow cat- xforce 2.5" mild steel catback. i love it, not to loud but sounds very nice, this gave a very nice performance kick aswell :D.
go on youtube and search around and listen to some b series falcons that have had exhausts done, most vids are in s**t sound quality but they give you an idea what different set ups sound like

Visual mods: 19" rim, lower grill mesh, oil pressure and vacuum gauges, engine bay lighting, foot well lights

Hey im looking at doing the same thing to my BF xr6 and i know about the engine light. whats the best way to get rid of this besides a custom tune.

PS what is an "intake side mod"
