Hi Everyone,
I recently purchased a set of Brake light LED globes for my Fairlane. I also purchased at the same time 2 sets of LED Load resistors 6ohm 50W. I've tried every combination possible and I cannot get it to work like the old halogen globes. I've read every post about LED brake lights and followed their suggestions and still cannot get it to work as original. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could try next? Thanks John. |

Hello,
Firstly you wont have Halogen Tail / Brake lights. Where did you buy the new globes ? If you got them from Ebay you may have bought faulty globes. Test them and make sure they work as a first step. To do this, hold the metal body of the globe against a metal engine part, and get a short wire with both ends stripped. Hold one end away from everything, and jam the other to the + terminal of the battery touch the loose end to both of the contacts on the base of the globe. ( one at a time ) See if you get light from both. Post again with what happens.
