Hey everyone,
I am in need of some assistance, I am getting a custom pair of LED tail lights together but I need to get hold of the measurements and dimensions of BF tail lights in a kind of sketch so they know how to model them. Anybodies help is much appreciated |

Hey mate, i got my pair sitting in a box in my cupboard. I see you are at Hunter, I live at Glenorie, not sure if you venture down to Sydney much but more than happy for you to come around and take your own measurements. I got the next 2 weeks off from Friday and will be around for most of that time so lets us know.
Cheers Phil

hey mate, they are just my standard BF tail lights, they give the look of an LED tail light but arent actually. I thought you said you were getting some made up?
I might sell them if you are still interested Cheers Phil

Yes, I am going to be installing an LED panel inside of a standard set of BF Tail lights and replacing the lenses inside to fit.
I needed measurements as I have to get the PCB's cut and sent to me from an american company that agreed to do the size |

I loved the idea of having LED's it was just the putting together of the PCB's themselves.
Thats why my plan was to find someone who had hopefully already measured the dimensions for this idea so I could just send off to america who then cut to size and put together an LED board ready for install into the lense for around $600 |

That's alot to pay for a set of lights, have you looked on eBay?

Yeah but I find they dont really suit the Fairlane like the BF Tail lights do.
I am thinking of doing a similar job to fordfreak ef except I can make my own design to accomodate the blinker and reverse lights too It would be better than paying 600 for an entire PCB when the reflectors in the BF Lights actually look good with just the 8 LED's reflecting. |

Just to add too, Does anyone know of a good but cheap set of tail lights that have a sporty LED Brake light design?
I am looking around now to maybe retrofit a nice style LED Design to my Brake lights. Similar to the BA/BF Altezzas except the LED Rings need to be slightly smaller to fit them both in |

You could try a pair of Toyota or Suzuki Altezzas as they are a smaller car
