Hi All,

It was my understanding that EF and EL Falcons didn't come out in black from the factory. Maybe I just dreamt this up but can someone please clarify for me?

Thanks
Brice

Nah I don't think they did. I've seen a few EF/EL's out there that have been painted black, or a really dark color that looks black. I reckon they look unreal!

I plan to paint my EF black when i have some money... won't be for a long time tho. :(

afaik not a factory option, but a few have been resprayed, and i'd say if you were willing to fork out the extra $$ for a special order, ford will paint a new car any colour you want

EL GT never got black.

I do however have a NL Fairlane pamphlet showing black (sillouette) as an option, and have seen a DF/DL LTD in black. AFAIK never was an option of EF/ELs.

Heritage Green can look black in some lighting.
