Also that el doesnt look mocha foam (which is an e series colour) it DOES look amaretto which is an au series colour, isnt your car the el/au hybrid bitsa they made at the end of el? :)

Bingo.

Interesting..
Seems cool to have all these odd things from au, alth oits also a bit confusing with bits, i mean not know it was a hybrid 90% or people woould have just brought the mocha foam colour if they know their ford colours in the e series, if not they would obviously resort to paint code..

My paint code - W6, according to all the touch up shops is actually white. It wasn't until I went to Ford and found it it's name (Amaretto), then I found someone who could make it up.

And Mocha Foam, is more brozne, than mine which I call gold.

i think i've seen a full-black EL XR out my way a couple of times... not exactly perfect, but it looked pretty mean. pin-striping was all black too!

Does anyone find the pin striping on the XR's to be just a little out of place?

With the blue EF/L XR's the red stripes on the moulds looks awesome. Really suits them.

dark paint, does the EL body well :)

Mind you I LOOOOOVE my gold paint.

Yeah Champagne is good. I have one of these too.
I still think one with original rims painted black would look alright. Or any rims painted black or black chrome.
