Just get some headlight covers and paint em black, or use that tinting paint. That way, you can take them off when mr policeman gives you grief or at nighttime.
I did that on a black ZL fairlane i had, didnt look to bad being all black with black lights (covers). Id wouldnt paint the blinker part though |

Since when arnt those LED washers not legal?? or is that only in ACT?? Coz in VIC you can have any colour but red.... Cop from the TMU(Traffic Managment Unit) in Deer Park, Melb told me that.

there are a few people on here who have headlight covers, which come off pretty easily for night time.. just leave them on during the day.. maybe look into that

Being a REX, there 99% of the time woulda been more s**t, and the cops were pickin on him. As they do with any car thats "fully sick" or the cops have had a slow day and needed something to make them look like they were actually doing work. The best way is to ring the Traffic Management Unit in the area (dont know what its called in your state sorry, but not the local cop shop as they know f**k when it comes to puttin s**t on cars...... I asked the locals if I could have my Dixie Horn, and they didnt know....(found out later Im not supposed to, but thats why I got a big a*** tickford logo hiding them) So yeah, I do beleive the actual tube neons are not allowed. And neither are coloured parkers. Back to your original question, headlight covers are the way to go....Im gettin a pair airbrushed with dinosaur eyes as we speak....
