thanks.

im not 100% but im sure they do make their moulds based off the original ford ones then modify with their own bits...sometimes not even that i think.

They do both EF and EL tickford copies AFAIK. Obviously as everyone knows, the copied stuff is all fibreglass compared to factory plastic (which is more durable / resiliant).

i'm asking because i want front, rear and side skirts for my elxr, but factory as we all know is hard to find, i'm willing to go aftermarket but all these suppliers advertise as "ef/el" tickford body kit, we all now there are suttle differences, i know i don't want an ef kit on my el, therefore trying to find out what these copies are based on.

So why don't you ring up CCS / SSV and specify precisely what you want ? Shouldn't cost anymore than ~$700 or thereabouts for a complete EL XR kit (supply only).

ssv is always more expensive.
ccs quoted me 700 delivered for front/rear/side skirts with rear door panels, no wing or bonnet vents.

When I was looking for the kit for my wagon I found that all I came accross were for sedans and were based on the EL style, seems to be more popular as it was a bit bulkier. But personally I think the EF front skirt is the best (raises up higher at the end), EL everything else (except EF cat scratch bonnet vents over the EL ones).

personally i reckon the EL rear skirt looks too big and bulky, kinda like clown shoes! EF one is more subtle. EL for everything else though

Found these on ebay, advertised as EF, but are on a EL, do they look genuine? and if so worth the dollars?

Thanks.
