hey guys..

now i know you have all heard this a thousand times... i need a bodykit for my car, anyone know a good site??? well i have a look at a whole bunch of sites and im havin a few probs finding something... now i have just got myself a newish 2003 BA XT falcon and im pretty keen on makin her s**t hot... 18's goin on this week etc etc... :D but when it comes to bodykits for them i dont know how to go about it... as most of u know the front bumper on the XTs are flat across below the head lights where all the xrs and gt front bumpers have the 2 dips under the head lights... now i assume the front bumpers are built to have the dips under the lights... so i just wanted to know if its possible to get any of those bumpers from the xr's or gt's without the dips.... or just let me know where bouts i can get some hot kits for the BA XT's... i did see a XT over east that had a GT-P bodykit on it... and it lookd shmick.... :D so any ppl out there wit some ideas, throw them this way...

cheers

chard

if you wanted to be different (to me anyway as i have never seen it but been thinking it) the XR and XT bars are the same around where the chrome strip recess is in the bar so if you wanted to hack up your bar and found a second hand XR bar you could get the cut and pastic welded together so basically you have an XR bar below the chrome strip recess and an XT above.

i did a photoshop of it yesterday and it looked awesome but i pressed a wrong button and it deleted half my work so i got angry and deleted it all.

just a thought

cracks, air bubbles, "damage in transit", fractures, poor instructions (drawn on a piece of a4 paper with black permanent marker..), no prep work.. i wouldn't touch them with a 10ft pole. The rear didn't even fit right.. we spent hours getting the stupid thing to fit.. even now its not 100% but you can onyl notice if i point it out.

I advise anyone in the market for kits, go plastic..

Keep it stock looking.. put the money into the motor instead.. these BA's respond really well to modification, so you'll have a grandpa car that can scare a WRX without too much trouble :D

Its called a body styling kit. They aren't too expensive from ford and they're plastic, so they fit right on and can withstand a knock or two. I fitted one to a BA last week, it made it look heaps fatter but its very subtle.
