Hi All

I am looking at putting just the front bar on my BF Falcon SR. I have found the BA GT or BF Typhoon front bar which has been made to fit the standard XT lights, although at $600 unprimed or painted is a little bit pricey. I was wondering if there is such a place in which you can buy the standard XR front bar but with it moulded to fit the standard XT lights?

The place I can get the poon and Gt bar is www.ssv.com.au

Thanks alot for the help guys

An XR bar with normal lights will look nearly identical to a normal bar. GT bars and all that moulded to normal lights look so stupid in real life, you will regret it.

Honestly yes. A mate of mine has a white BA XT with the gt front bar for the normal headlights and it looks sooo stupid. You'll spend $1000 or so once its painted and on and I guarantee you'll regret not going proper headlights.

yeah i just found the full gt kit which i think would look much better even with the xt headlights, ive asked him for a price outside of ebay and a few other questions, i can get it painted cheaply so will be interesting to see what the kit itself is worth

Yeah i have recently bought a F6 typhoon bodykit with the XR front. I own a 05 ford futura MkII i bought XR headlights on ebay and they look great worth spending a little more with the lights to make it look like the real thing.

Also i need to get it sprayed in shockwave blue would anyone know the prices for it to be sprayed?

Yeah i was thinking of getting the kit with the XT lights but i wanted to have it look like an F6 without anyone knowing till they got up close and looked at the interior xD . My kit came in the mail today so i cant wait to get it fitted.

Also with the ba shockwave blue there was a recall on the paint where its bubbling and peeling off so check all sides of your car i am getting mine resprayed for free by ford because of this in a few weeks it ends in july so might as well have a look ill post pics when my kit is on.

Thanks for advice mate, i did know about this, mine is a BF though and i have had a look over my car once i found out about it but my paint seems fine so it must have been sprayed after they found out about the f**k up paint. Where did you get ur kit and how much you pay for it?
