Hi,

I have a 97 fairmont. I was recently in an accident and I had to get my front end fixed. I just got the car back yesterday and they still didnt fit my grille on it (Im getting a fairlane one on it but they didnt have any in stock). I picked up the car at night so I didnt get a good chance to see everything.

So I had a look this morning in the daylight and I saw that the bonnet wasnt aligned properly. The front of the bonnet goes longer than the front side pannel by around 1-2cm and at the top of the bonnet (closest to windshield) it also doesnt match the groove from the side panels. I will obviosuly tell them to fix it but I was wondering if it was a big job to fix or not. I want to know as much as possible as I dont want them to fool me.

Thanks,
Tommy!

Well 2 things. You can simply just loosen the 4 bolts under the bonnet and adjust it. If this doesn't work then the whole car is out of wack.

It happened to mine but because the whole front end was pushed in about half an inch i just put a bend in the bonnet so it closed.

Got any pix?
