Hey guys just a genral question for anyone who knows, i have done a search on the rta but am having trouble finding anything,

Im just wondering if anyone knows what the rules regarding having a massive supercharger hanging out of the bonnet are, i know that it would be impossible to have that engineered on something late model but i was wanting to know if it can be done legaly on something really oldschool like an xy as their design standards would be much softer??? only because i seen an xt in the bilo car park the other day with number plates and a current rego sticker and it apeared as though it was registered!

cheers

in WA its something like 100mm above standard bonnet hight with a slant back smooth finsih, so like a xr8 with a shaker scoop is about as exteme as you could prob go, i know a guy why has a supercharged monaro and he puts the blower on, waits for a defect sticker, takes it off goes over the pits then puts it back on again, after you do it half dozen times you can do it within an hour
