Hey

I have been experiencing boot leaks in the EF

I managed to work out its leaking from where the screw lugs for the number plate are... suomehow it is leaking through them... I think...

I told my old man and he went and got the black sticky stuff that u put between the rubber and the windscreen... its waterproof but it doesnt drie hard or form any sort of skin... He plastered it over the TOP of the lugs where the number plate mounts... i was like wtf u fool!!! anyways he put it on the front side as plastered it on the back of the lugs where they were leaking....

I cleaned the front s**t off with Kero but now theres lumps of black stuff on the back and inside of the lugs and on the screws its a bit off a mess... and i just had the boot painted!

What should i do?? just leave the black stuff on there?? i really wish he has used silicon. Can i buy new lugs???

What should i do???
