i reckon red'll stand out a lot more - too much. so i guess it might depend what look he's going for.
it's an AU XR isn't it? did they also get red striping around the body (like EF/EL ones)? if they did tehn maybe red ones are the way to go - to match it in.

No, if you have a look at the pics in my gallery you can see they dont have the red stripes on the series 3.

I was thinking of red, because then, they will look like the Brembo brakes,
but i dont really like red, because to me, its more a holden color,
but i dont know if blue would look alright?

keep it blue oval! I think blue would look fine. red would be more factory though, as they did actually come out with red brembo's as you said before

ba upgraded brakes are black.

I did mine red, and it looks good. I'd do blue on a silver car ;)

unless they're bigger than stock, paint them black, no one wants to see stock brakes. Black prevents rust, and doesn't stand out.

I am pretty sure new roadworthy rules that came out last month say painted calipers are unroadworthy. Dont know why but maybe someone here does roadys and can confirm this.

that'd look like the BA brakes then. they'd got a white ford logo on blue calipers.
i ddon't see how painted calipers can be illegal.

I wouldn't be sticking anything on there, it'd melt. You'd want caliper paint, and paint on a logo if you want it that bad.
