Ok, I want to have my car sprayed a darker colour (black, blue, purple maybe?) It is currently bright yellow.
My problem is that the cost for my mods has sort of blown out. Any tips on how I can get he spray job done at the cheapest possible price? Thanks

hmm paint isn't the expensive part of a respray, it's all the prep work and everything. unless you have a sandblaster though i don't think you'll get a good result. you could just sand everything back though.
don't use spray paint, even automotive one, get a proper gun and a compressor. doing it this way will probably cost $6-700 but a lot cheaper than getting it done.

thought about matt black? If thats done right it dosent look too bad LOL. if its done crap, well thats what it looks like.
you'll have to look at what type of paints you want to use and what tools/workshop space you have access to as well. Time is another factor to consider

If you want to do a dark colour, and you want it to look good, the word BUDGET will only refer to the company you hire the car from to drive whilst its getting painted.
Take it from an owner of 3 dark coloured cars, EVERYTHING shows up, so a cheap job will show up just as that, cheap |

Its quite bright, but would need some repairs. And with my new lights, scops ect I will need a respray anyway.
