Well I cleaned her this arvo, and polished/waxed her the 1st time since ive had it..
Its much easier to clean than Heritage Green and looks awesome when cleaned nicely, i found by hand was easy enough - no need for orbital buffers or anything like that! At the end dust it off like i said and its fine, took me almost 5 hours of solid cleaning, but now my fbt is in MY standard of cleanliness!

I admit I use a rotary buffer for big panels such as the bonnet, roof, boot etc.. However for the small areas you must do it by hand. You have to be really confident with your abilities however, takes practice.

The best thing you can do for your cars paint is;
GET RID OF THE SUPERCHEAP CRAP! I cannot stress this enough. I know that everyone will have their favourite polish/swirl remover etc and will swear by it, but the only thing you should use you meguiars and kitten stuff for is using them as chocks for your wheels, or to keep nuts and bolts in. I have painted tons of cars and bikes over the years and this is what I have done. After a paint job I usually wet sand it back (400,800,1500,2000). I then use a product called " FARECLA G3" Used to be just called Farecla, but now they have different grades. You can use it orbitally or by hand depending on the job, as long as you have experience with an orbital and don't burn the paint. Once done with the farecla, get a tin of "100% Carnuba Wax" then wax the car. I can get a swirl free effect on the car with just using these two items. However you can also utilise a swirl remover after you have used the carnuba wax. Any slight scratches in the clear on a paint job, and they will disappear with the farecla. Buy a tube then do under the handle of your EF/EL (very common), then tell me it's a crap product. Have separate rags for application and removal. Always wash and use a fabricate softener when doing so, and use a bit of commonsense. This will save you lots of hours of painstaking work trying to get it right. Ask a few car yards what they use to detail the cars. The good ones will swear by Farecla. It's one of those trade secrets!!! |

Where can you obtain this product and what price bracket is it in?
Ive been recomended a few things before, but they cost so much together i just laughed, i dont care how good they were.. Also the ef/el handles to need attention your right, you can always tell when the product doesnt work or people havnt done the handles.
