Look aat it this way: if anybody asks it is to let out excess heat How does a bulge let out excess heat? And why cut below it if he's not fitting it for clearance? Only reaosn I'm going to cut out my bonnet to fit it is so that it's flush instead of having that ring around it. |

Yeah got a good point obout the heat in regards to the bulge. Thinking more along the lines of the phase 5 scoop I had on my XD. Didn't need it for clearance just to get rid of hot air. And like i said "I can be a hypocrit" and if you can't take the piss outa yaself who can ya take the piss outa?

Problem with cutting the bonnet for clearance is youve then got to cut through both the two layers on actual bonnet sheet, and then theres the rigid strengthening peices underneath that are there for strength and what not.
I'm only planning on cutting throguh the top layer of steel and mounting it flush with that, no reason to cut all the way into the bonnet. |

Hmmm i like i like. But looks too far forward mate, i see you have most likely done this due to wanting to keep your windscreen washer nozzles.
But damn still looks the goods. Cleaned the rubber off your car from bathurst yet? LOL

Too far forward? meh! looks a lil forward on ba's too..

Yeah doesnt look to be in the right position to me, too far foward as scott said.
Would look a lot beter if it were back a little more. Im sure it would take that much to try and re drill the washer nozzle holes and re mount them. But then again, not a fan of buldges on I6's... But each to thier own. Will that make your bonnett harder to open, i hope so....
