Looks really really good!
Any more pics? More specifically of the bulge.
I've got mine sitting on the bonnet at the moment, and marked out where the bonnets getting cut! I'm actually quiet excited to take an angle grinder to the bonnet... :-)

Why would you want to cut a hole unless ur plannin on stickin a big donk in to replace ur standard ? seems like a lot of extra work to me... lol
My bro ordered one of these and its waitin at the depo for him to pick up anyone got pics of one on an el xr with tickford bodykit and flutes?

nah... sat it on top.. used at each corner a self tapper screw.. body filleed over the top of the screw.. then sanded the edge of the bulge smoother.. (is fibre glass) then body filled the whole perimetre of the bulge.. then hand sanded it.. and thats where im up to... stil needs alot more sanding.... and then a re-spray... hopefully wednesday... so as to be done for the Wagga all ford day..

just sits on top.. wasnt confident enough to hack the bonnet up.. lol... atleast i know i could hack underneath the bulge...for more clearance above a taller engine.. PS.. (Might even be enough to clear the top of a ba Xr turbo motor?!)

yeah, the rice thought had crossed my mind.. but then again.. wing spoilers are almost all rice.. as very little few actualy do anything more than just for looks on most road cars.. and would you go up to the FPV designers and say that the bulge on the "Force 6" is rice cos it wasnt needed to clear the turbo six motor cover (270)

You've got a point but that left the factory like that not added afterwards 8-) If you add it afterwards I reckon it should serve a purpose. :P Thats just my opinion though and I can be a bit of a hypocrit

mate i would be careful with ur plan because im pretty sure thats how fordman351's is done and he has little cracks coming up in the body filler comin thru his paint. i would be lookin at gettin it fibreglassed to the bonnet or something else...

i know its chasing my tail a lil bit but comes back around to wing spoilers... FACTORY FITTED.. -stil kinda rice unless thay actualy work.. lol.. so i guess theres no "set" perametres of whats rice and whats not.. -all up to the individual... within reason.. ps(that au i p[osted up in the off topic section is "pushing it"!)

How does a bulge let out excess heat?

And why cut below it if he's not fitting it for clearance?

Only reaosn I'm going to cut out my bonnet to fit it is so that it's flush instead of having that ring around it.
