Hello all, i just thought i'd create a thread with various pictures of how my car is comming along from scratch. Its a 2005 model MKII Futura. I bought it on the 30th March 2006 completely stock. I've done everything myself apart from painting of the bodykit, i had a mate to do that for me cheap.

Hmmm, well with my Fairmont "F" badges (designed for the chrome boot gnarnish) it has two mounting pins but I angle-grinded them off and just used the double sided tape to apply to the side of my car.

I know what you mean though. I'm not keen on drilling 4 holes into my boot to put an EL Fairmont chrome number plate surround.

no, i havent got the xr headlights yet, and yes i do have full intention to get them otherwise i would have opted for the kit that suited the standard headlights which was $100 cheaper, but when i find some cheap xr headlights and fog lights, i'll get them for sure, i have looked at so many places for prices, but way too much for them so far, maybe even if they bring out a tricked out aftermarket headlight like angel eyes, would go for that. 8-)
