The thing is you have 2 pairs of cornering lights on the front of an ef, the ones next to the headlights and the ones on the guards. Maybe Mad the op should have clarified this in his original post, then there would have been no issues.

They're indicators.
Cornering lights are found in the lower bumper of NF/NL Fairlanes. |

Most people call those fog lights mate. Cornering lights to most would mean indicators, hell this ebay page comes up with heaps of " corner lights", all indicators.

Have you got a pic of the lights?
I have restored a few headlights. It depends on how bad the cracking is as to whether they can be fixed up. The yellow and fading can certainly be fixed though. I'd want $30 to fix them up. |

The Thread title says "Can you restore the cornering lamps" and if Cornering lights = lights that light up when you indicate, the title would suggest indicators (or for us old folk Blinkers) hence the confusion |

Either that or use the light cleaner as stated. Lastly, what you had was a few blokes who obviously didnt understand exactly what you meant but were trying to help anyway. In turn you and Mad have attacked members who posted with the best intentions. Really, all you had to do was check out the tech doc or go to supercheap and your question would have been answered |

Cornering lamps were fitted to EL Ghias, Fairlanes & LTD's. Only foglights fitted to an E series were EB GT & EL GT. Indicators are indicators. End of story. |
