You're talking about fairlane ghia lamps, in the front bar, that come on with the indicators?
Not the indicator lense next to headlight, or the guard repeaters...? If they glass, heat up glue so you can get just lense off, and clean inside lense too... If its possible? Also id buff/polish outside first, maybe no need to break apart... Cut n polish should be fine, I believe metal polish like meguirs or mothers might also be good? And just to add, actual "fog" lights, in the true sense of the word, mostly are yellow, or atleast not "white", as in real fog the white/brighter light reflects, reducing visibility even more... Yet most "real" foglights are fitted on euro cars... Driving lights would be correct term... Considering this seems to be the thread to nit pick! Lol Although the lamps in question are indeed cornering lamps, and im sure ford themselves call them this... Furthermore, cornering lamps are nothing like indictors, or turn signals, but whatever you want to call them is up to you guys... Im just glad im not dealing with some of you blokes over a parts counter! Lol at mad too

{USERNAME} wrote: Lol at mad too In a good way I hope Have you had a crack at these yet Boosted? Here's a sample of some lights I recently restored. The headlight was keyed and some bits were too deep to get out but after restoration i'd say overall it's about 95%. But much better than before. it's worth the effort when it's a genuine headlight. BEFORE (The second pic looks like it just dirty, but it's actually like it's been sandblasted) AFTER |

Sand paper and a 50/50 mix of urethane and white spirits.
It's a wipe on coating that is self leveling. I like it because the plastic doesn't have to be polished before coating. I finish at 1500 grit wet sanding, then coat. |

Ends up like a clear coat kinda deal?
I polished up my lil bros ba ones last week, but had a clear coat or something on em that went mega crap, and was a massive pita.... Come up good. The red glow/reflection whatever in the lenses looks cool.
