well i recieved my new rims and tyres today. and i must say they look good on the lane, but i have a small problem.
went to go put them on and the wheel nuts only just fit into the holes on the mags, so there is f**k all room for a socket ot anything of the sort. So what can i do about this? can i buy smaller wheel nuts? i am prob wanting to get chrome nuts as the ones that were on the lane rims were covered and arent the best looking nut in the world. how much would these be?

Ha ha, the guys who sold me mine gave me a thin socket that fits in.
Someone on here near you will have one, I'm sure of it. Or you can just buy one, I'm sure they're pretty common.

Whoever sold you the wheels should have provided the correct wheel nuts or a socket to fit the standard ones. There is too much slackness with peop[le selling wheels and tyres.*end of rant*

Well aint that a b**ch. Did you get lock nuts with the wheels, see how big that is etc. With the nits that are on my wheels i am pretty sure dad has a socket for them. And just a normal tyre iron thingy that has the socket end type things also fit.

I'd take it to a tyre joint. But generally that'd have me thinking that they didn't drill the holes out enough...

yeah took it to tyre joint all done now. but f**k $140 later!!!!
rip off bastards. had to get new locknuts. they charged me $60 for 20 of the little bastards, they look a lot nicer but god damn they cost me s**t. $40 for wheel alignment and $40 just to put the rims on, that i though was a bit steap too. but iam just glad they are on. they gave me a long thin socket that fits them asell, so that was good.

Problem is locknuts dont have the same strength as ordinary wheelnuts, and are not actually designed to hold the wheels on.
