Today's quick tip

After washing your car, spray your quick detail spray onto paint prior to drying with a microfibre drying towel for a smoother feel to the paint or slick feel if your car has been clayed and waxed

Tryed that today with a special recipe of mine which contains the latest nano acrylic sealants
Car surface is ultra slick

Hope to add this to my range very shortly, have one more brand coming in next month

Time saver

For those that have clayed, polished and waxed or sealed the paintwork on their ride, try this

After doing final wash rinse, spray a quick detail spray onto the first panel and dry with a waffle weave drying towel
Do the same around the whole car
This will eliminate the need for quick detailing when the car is dry and keeps the paint slick and adds protection

I personally am using einszett raindance and sonus detail spritz with a little acrylic spray sealant

Great stuff, what products did you use?
Nice pics indeed, if you do want to step up a level or two, give the latest stuff I have a go

Don't forget to dress your tyres though mate, some sonus gel would go great on them.

I am really glad that my tips have helped you out
And here is another one

Use only warm water in your shampoo buckets and water bucket when using two or more bucket methods

Cold or really hot water will cause the shampoo to dry really fast, it can harm waxes and sealants and can actually crack the paint if you use hot water to shampoo and cold water from hose to rinse

Hey mate,

I didn't listen to any of your advice on products(not yet at least), but I listened to the fact about using microfibre. Damn that thing works! Although I have a question about waxes and polishes. Which is the one we are 'supposed' to use frequently and which is the one that is used once or twice a year? I always thought that waxing was done once or twice a year and polishing was done more frequently, but on some sites they say that its the other way around.

Anyway, I used Polyglaze(I know, I know but we all have to start somewhere) Car Shampoo, which was followed by Polyglaze Wax and Polish. Usually when I was the car (which is like every 3 weeks), I use the shampoo and then go to the 'Diamond Finish' or something like that polish. When I used microfibre on that it looked good aswell, but that was so much easier to remove than this Wax and Polish stuff.

I am thinking of going to Meguiars products or something like that when I finish my current things. Holy crap long post, sorry... I'll stop now.

yeah microfibre helps for sure
Try the mothers FX and reflections line, much better than meguiars
Then once you reckon you have the car at it's best, for sure, try out some of my hawaiian microfibre, especially the drying towels
They will blow you away.

Wax should be applied more regularly, every two to three months, polish only as necessary, try a paint cleanser first to see if that will take the marks out, it saves paint

Thanks a bunch and I'll hopefully get some pics for you later

OK for all those who own an EF Falcon wagon
Doesn't matter if it's a ticky or not

If you want to get your rear plastic strips looking good (the uprights on each side of back windscreen, try this

Clay,
A decent medium strength polish with foam pad by hand or machine
Then a machine or hand glaze by hand

I used sonus sfx 2 and then sfx 3 with sonus Dual action foam pads

You can also use p21s finish restorer for a finish near to that.
don't forget to apply some paint sealant or wax to them afterwards to stop them going crappy again from the sun's rays

Quite simple, I can post it off to you
Pay via direct deposit, cheque or money order
DD is easiest for me

$25 for one or 2 for $46

I also have the ultra soft drying towels (smaller) and even smaller sized ones for drying engine bay, door jambs etc and for window cleaning
If you email me, I will send you my latest catalog

Always new stuff coming in

Do you come to adelaide much?
it's always nice to meet new people at cruises like the ford forums and ford fans ones and my customers across the nation

Email me when your ready, plenty in stock

It is part of the dream machines business.
Car care product supply is the main one but people are bombarding me lately to have their car done

I also conduct clinics, it's about time I did another one.
I use selected products from over fifty eight brands of products
