Whats the prices on it?

Unfortunately I am all out of Reflow at the moment
You can however order the trim dream anytime. tell me what size you want and I will make it up for you

It's $65 for the 3 x 125ml or $35 for 3 x 50ml
just give me a call on 0439 840 637

FUKN NEWS FLASH ALRIGHT

ill ring ya tomorrow buddy.
my new phone should be here by tomorrow, at least ill be able to talk for more than 5 min without it going flat. only been waiting 7 weeks  dam NOKIA.

know what ya mean about the job taking your life away.
thats why i left my last job and bugger me, its started to happen again

It is dissappointing that the business wont be around for much longer but I have my current work at Splash where we have an air con polishing bay, the owner works with me on the cars, he gets us the work and deals with the customers, supplies the products we need and they buy me lunch most of the time

That may exist until 2012 but I hope to be working for somebody else doing what my lifelong passion always has been.

Good move Matt, do what makes you happy.

Thank you for all your help and advice with respect to detailing. I have greatly appreciated your attention to detail and quality service and youtube videos. They are very valuable.

Thanks for the products, I havent applied yet, but will look to this month. Will post pics.

If I get anyone asking about detailing, I will point them to this library of info you have provided on this forum.

This really isnt bad news, its good to know your making a change for what you want.

Good luck, take care, have fun.

Choc.

Millard rang me today and I explained to him in depth the reasons for my decision and he agrees
Please note: I won't be dissappearing from this forum at all and will continue to do new detailing videos from next month and especially if Chris from In Depth detail in Idaho comes over in June as planned

Put simply, I will go from being a car detailing professional with my own business to working for somebody else with better working conditions and regular hours monday to friday and he supplies all the detailing products we need (what I use already fortunately) and even buys me lunch
After hours, I'll be open to detailing anyone's car, however I will probably only do 1 car a month or bi monthly and will spend more time on it than ever before without the usual prices. it will just be my hobby, not bread and butter but my same attention to detail and practices will remain

So it's not some huge big thing, just a nice change

Chris and I are committed to inventing a whole new tool or tools and new techniques and products that will put current technology to shame, starting mid this year and we will be applying this if we succeed, at Splash car wash in Glen Osmond Road, Adelaide.

Thought it would shock you. Nothing big changing, just letting go of the business for the reasons stated above this post

I'm in for the long haul on this site and will continue to show you vids from Splash and the cars I do at my shop every now and then
You will understand what I've been through at some stage of your detailing career.
when your on your own doing the whole car in and out with many steps per each material type and 20 hour days to do a $1200 dollar detail in two days, takes its toll. along with running the business and on the business too and worst of all, dealing with a*** customers and a**hole who wont pay more than 200 bucks but expect the world.

Anyhow, I'll be seeing you in late January or early February for sure. just waiting to start at splash again next week and do a fortnights work and boost the bank balance some more

Yes it will be, I have been offered a good deal to stay with Splash car wash as head detailing technician, the website of splash will be up very very soon and all new ad campaign and signage are on the way too.

The only difference between Dream Machines and Splash will be the exclusive use of Gtechniq and Menzerna products only which is dissappointing to a degree.

Hey there Matt, I was floored by your statement that you were hanging up the pads and buffs because of your health? I guess no one would understand how hectic it can be and of course, when you are doing something you get a kick out of doing, the hours just tick away.
I was hoping to get to see you this month but maybe another time. I do hope you had a great Christmas and the New year be Monstrously pleasing in all ways.

On another note, I would love some of that Trim Dream myself, if you could PM me with some payment info I would love to become an owner. :)

All the best with your new ventures Matt.

I have to thank you a lot for helping me with most of the knowledge I have about detailing which has gotten me to where I am now.

I understand what you mean about all the stresses and stuff about running your own business and especially about dealing with low ballers.
There are some days which i think to myself..."why did I get myself into this"

Anyways mate, Keep in contact and keep posting as Im sure a lot of people on here and other forums looks forward to seeing your top notch work :D

Cheers
Dave

Thanks Dave and George

I will still be doing a sydney trip this year but I'd say most likely mid year as my car needs to get up to scratch mechanical wise. time for some tyres, exhaust and diff/brake repairs

As stated in another post, I aint going anywhere and still working at splash
the website should be online real soon
