Paintwork that has excessive orange peel and severe scratches will be sanded (machine and hand, wet or dry depending on customer requirements)
we will be sanding the paint with special discs and a sandpaper additive which prevents the paper from losing its abrasive ability and actually last longer.
We will be sanding so fine with these discs and additive that it's 10 times as fine as any body shop, crash repairer or any other detail shop.
the finish will actually be polished by the sanding process to the point that there are no sanding scratches remaining and to finish off the process, the paint will be treated to a molecular fusion treatment using our latest product called REFLOW
the paint molecules are fused totally flat and gloss improved before we take it even further with special non silicone plus wax and abrasive free glazes, deep cleaners and our latest product, called NUCLEAR, one of my own blends which adds a synthetic form of clear coat to the paint in as many layers as you wish
the more layers the thicker the paint gets and the more it magnifies the paint lustre.

compounding is no longer needed with fresh or cured paint because of the sanding discs, our reflow product which makes the paint correctable with just foam pads and one of our nano sub micron water based polishes
to finish off - We will be the only shop in Australia that offers a 4 step state of the art paint, glass, wheel and trim decontamination system that. 2 of the steps are ph neutral and acid free
the acid in the other two is much better and safer than oxalic acid which has been the standard with older paint decon systems that etches glass and bleaches unpainted metals
this process may almost make claying obsolete as this system purifies the entire paint system. the binders, colour layers and the clear coat layers.

Today's Tip

Do not use synthetic wool pads on your paint at all when machine polishing with a DA or Rotary
these create more heat than natural 4 ply twisted wool which increases the risk of paint burns
Also, they leave behind more swirl marks.

a poly/lambswool blended wool pad are used for light compounding down to finishing
I prefer to use natural wool then switch to light cut foam pads.
There is a new type of wool pad soon to be released that is made from silk and wool. these will be tested at our american shop in Idaho in coming months.
the claim from the manufacturer is more cut than nat wool but less or no swirls at all

great to know your still with us hans
how's your health doing?

sorry I land in melbourne only then adel but there is a big sydney trip planned either in december when my friend chris from here in boise arrives or january/feb for sure if he cant make it

have you and george to visit plus infinity auto, detroit custom bodyworks and a few others to check out.

unfortunately only coming back with some laserdiscs, some TRIM DREAM, my polymer and glass Dream Glaze
we've formulated six new products that are continuing to be fine tuned but have up to fourteen I'll be making a batch of in the next six months
these products are mostly evolutionary but there are a couple revolutionary products

clay mate - lubricant that cleans the clay as you use it and makes it work better and quicker
clay shampoo - fine claying whilst you wash a vehicle prior to detailing - a prep product for enthusiasts who dont have or dont know how to safely use the decontamination system

REFLOW - finally found a formula and ingredients to make this stuff. oxidation dissolver, paint lustre restorer, serious but safe paint deep chemical clean (no abrasives), buff buddy polishing performance booster and easier work with less product

full list will be up shortly
