{USERNAME} wrote: Long time no see Matty. I remeber seeing you some years ago with a Harvest green XR6 which you did some wonderful stuff with ion the black exterior plastic. I now have a G6E in Velvet, absolutely gorgeous colour especially witht he cream leather interior. The car is almost three years old now and is in need of a bit of a pick me up in the paint department, with swirls marks a few scratches that dont seem to want to come out (although they are not deep) Do you have any suggestions for the home handyman with time on his side to spruce the old goose up. I notice you mention products such as Glare and your own product shockwave? I still have a load of prima stuff I use on the car but doesnt seem to do the job I want. Any help would be appreciated. Sure. Prep the paint and wheels with Iron X and Clay (iron x available from waxit.com.au) then you have three choices. paint cleaner and sealant, glare/restructure marine to fill in defects for some time and maximise gloss or go the paint rectification route with abrasives.

Hello Everyone
Sorry for my absence lately Okay what I am about to do next week is an instructional video on how to use the GLARE and RESTRUCTURE MARINE Systems to restore, rejuvinate, enhance and protect your paint without removing the paint as you would with a cutting polish How does that sound, oh and I finished a mammoth refinish of a 2007 Lexus IS250 in black Check out the photos if you dont mind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II0MA9Z3 ... r_embedded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXtMpsz6 ... dded#at=20

Good work Matt! Just had a look at the transformation of that lexus and that looks excellent. Just went to the Melbourne motor show and looked at some of the display cars... I reckon some of them needed a touch of your magic. The damage could of been caused by the constant wipe down of fingerprints with the cloth they were using. I suppose they are open to the public to touch and admire, just wish some would respect the display cars paint!

Sorry for my absence for two months at least
Perhaps you were right baboon. Many cars need my magic, it's sad and sometimes damn frustrating to see so many quality cars on show at big events with swirl marks, holograms, car wash marks and even acid rain etching in the paint many look very good if not awesome if done properly by the owner. Anyway, here is my latest video showing the new way to remove orange peel. Without sanding Lots has changed since I was on here. New pads developed and new techniques By the way, if any of you guys have skype, add me. My username is mrpolish73 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_MJrUycffw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQcSucwRmuU here is the lexus again, three months after I did the car. I was just cleaning it and giving it a fresh coat of sealant the day I took this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9Njr2Oq ... re=related
