$350 is cheap isnt it? I got quoted $850 from WA Suspensions, and that was springs shocks and camber, and only 2inches...

Price for springs is the same for Superlow, Low or Standard. Supply only for a set of springs is $220. So add $130 for a couple hours labour fitting and voila - $350! When you lower your car you should also fit appropriate shocks, especially if youre going superlow. Add $450-500 for KYB/Gabriel/Monroe shocks.

Certainly - it will handle like s**t, wear fast and ride wont be too crash hot neither.
Generally becomes very bouncy n things just wear faster than they should - not safe as the shocks arent going to be keeping thewheel to the rd as much as they should not to mention you will have long shocks with small springs, very easy to bottom out the shocks with this setup. Best bet - do it properly in the 1st place or get them done next you can.

If you put 17" rims on the beast - it wont sit as nice and low.
Maybe go a cheap set of 15" rims - will look much better than hub caps - and wont cost the earth?? (id prefer 15"rims to hubcaps )

$350 is nice and cheap, although u def gotta get shocks, i was gunna get it lowered but then i heard sum nasty and scary stories of what happens without shocks and just springs by my mechanic, who is also my good mates dad, so i dont fink he will lie to me....so i scratched the whole 'lowering' idea until after i get my edit...

Daniels right thats the way to wear out shockies quickly but the ride isnt as bad as I have heard, only when I hit bumps in the road. |
