i havnt had to realign mine, altho i only dropped it 1 inch (lows) so on the road it will probebly drop 30cm, if that. as the back is also dropped

if u lower it evenly it shouldnt affect the air too badly, because the headlights are aimed in relation to the height of the headlight from the car (if headlight aligning is done the text book way), but if u lowered the rear or the front more then yes id imagine u would need to realign the headlights

Is a camber kit required for a King "Low" setup??
(dont even know what this is exactly, but Ive seen threads about it, some say yes, some no ??) |

not for lows, but when you start going superlows its a good idea to do it. a camber kit realigns the wheels so they sit flat again and wear evenly and not sit on one edge of the rim.. a lil pic for ya...
looking front on to the wheels STOCK | | s/lows / \ <- there is ment to be gaps between the "wheels" but the gap keeps dissapearing :S |

Thanks Bear.
Ive also got a question about the shocks in a new thread... http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=35577 any suggestion?? Man, This is starting to get a bit complex for me. I just hope to get the job done right and have a setup that works well, is SAFE and fully compliant with NRMA. |

if your going lows, just get the springs fitted and off you go, your shocks dont need replacing unless there fuked, there is no need to get the camber kit for lows.
so all you will need is the springs them selves and thats it |

Understood.....
I was however thinking to do the shocks as well. They seem a little bouncy to me, but Ill get them checked by the mechanic. In light of what you said, I guess standard Monroes would be an OK option. Many thanks for your help and advice. Cheers. |

a good point to remember is that the camber kits arent that expensive, and when your fitting springs/shocks you've already paid for a fair amount of the labour involved, so it might be worth getting them put in anyway?
