Haha maybe not... I just went nuts in photoshop.

But it got me thinking about the front bar... in the pic i just streched it so it hung lower (see gallery for origional) anyway i was wondering... i want somthing subtle but somthing that hangs lower than the origional... it would be great if it was as easy as streching the bar like in photoshop. Everything for the au seems to be over the top s**t (read: Hawk i belive) my car is not a f**k spaceship as to wich i do not want it emulating one...

My next choice would be an TS50 kit... ( i love this kit but without the power to back up the looks i dont thnk so...)

is there anything out there that is in the right direction for the au's?

also i want to get rid if the red pinstrip... but i was also thinking can the gap be filled with body filler and painted (front and rear)... aswell as remove the door strips to give a smother look...

Anyway just a few thoughts... comments and sugestions would be great :)

Yeah some careless cloneing...i'll do BA i'll see if i can find a good pic to do... prob tomorow (well today) tho...

Lowered roof? Yeah thats why the topic is called chop top ;)

As for the bar... yeah i wish i was good with fibreglass and stuff... funny that all the body kits and s**t people could come up with but all you need is to some how streach the stock front bar :P. Simple yet effective is always best...

But has anyone filled in the "groove" where the pinstripe goes on the front and back bars... is it posible (dont see why not) and removed the side "knockers". My uncle is a spraypainter/pannel beater i should ask him... i just think it would look smoother... simpler. but i'd prob only bother with it if i can somehow work the front bar as above.

eh im off to bed... to much thinking this early in the morning... hahaha

ACE DUDE

your pot on about simpler being best extreemly tough and the opposite of rice would love to have seen it without the chop top.

go on give it a go. I recon 2 bumper's and a heep of glass mat with some carefull combining it's far from imposible. you've inspired me to look at doing somthing for my nc although cant go very low the nudge bar scrapes on some driveways as is.

I too hate having the skills to implament my inspiration.
but fortunatly i'm to stupid to realise thats the fun part.

I'm in the process of putting BA lights onto a fiesta (and a few other little bits 'n' pieces) looks really crazy but still sorta suits it. May put it up. I might even have a crack at your car.
