Hi guys,
this is driving me nuts. I have spent the day looking for some chrome tape (about 2cm wide) that will replace the worn out stuff on my bumpers (ed futura). I have been to super cheap, bunnings, hobbie and craft shops and local car shop to no avail.
Has anybody had any luck finding this or something simlilar in the Perth area.

Can't help you with finding one in Perth, however it is normally readily available from most auto shops such as Bursons, Repco, Autobarn etc.
Just keep trying.

I had a V8 eb fairmont ghia once and replaced the chrome strip with a mat black one, it looked much better, it was an auto trimmer at Silverwater in Sydney (near homebush) I removed the side moulding and cut the horrible chrome strip off. Do this and your car will look much better.

yeah i think i will need to do something like that. or go to a signwriting place and get them to cut it for me.
