G'day I picked up a set of el mont door moulds the other day, but the chromes pretty shot, I thought I'd seen the chrome strips somewhere or another, but just can't for the life of me remember where? just hopng someone can remind me where.

The best I could find was SAAS chrome pinstripe (12mm) part no 11499.
Comes out pretty good. Get it from Autobarn, etc.
You can use clear sticky tape to wrap over the top to protect it from the elements, although the imperfections in the tape glue do make the look slightly worse quality, but certainly better than weathered factory items.

There was a guy selling the replacement chrome strips on ebay cheap about 2 weeks ago..

can't find him now.. I spent an hour looking for him the other day for the same reason.

Yeah I wonder if I'd seen them on ebay, but gave a quick search with no luck.

Cheers snap, I'll check them out sounds like the go. might not worry about tape, or are they pretty susceptible to weather otherwise.

Well you can try with the chrome pinstripe on it's own, and see how it goes outside. You Will need to remove the inserts from the plastic molds to put the tape on. When you put the inserts back in, try not to bend them excessively, as you will get creases in the pinstripe. The Inserts are easy enough to remove again later from the plastic molds on the car - despite being held down by double sided tape.
