Whats a good product to clean up alloy mags and get rid off tar also?

i use amoural wheel cleaner works great for brake dust dunno about tar tho

Cheapest bet is to use degreaser or regular car wash, then autosol to polish the bits that dont come off with.

Will take you a good 2-3 hours if you do it well! Looks fantastic though.
