Works a treat and should also remove small ammounts of rust... If you like, i can get the name of the product. Pretty hard to miss though, in a small yellow tin at supercheap auto, in the car cleaning section.
Never Dull wadding is the stuff Autosol is a good one It's an old school product but is perfect for old school wheels and windows too I would love to try my p21s polishing soap on some 70's wheels. Have only tested it on all my three sets

I use to use a bit of CRC or WD40 and steel wool on my old 12 slots. It knocks the rust back and and cleans the grime off the chrome.

Autosol....the best, then use mothers chrome polish to protect them, must keep on top of chrome wheels, my slotters are 12 years old and look like the day they were made.......
One of the best things to use on chrome once it is clean is mister sheen furniture polish, thats what the harley guys use on thair bikes, and they got mass chrome and most are fussy as!!!! Just spray on and wipe off to prevent rust once you have used the auto sol. |
