You will pay more than that for a set of EL fairmont lenses or Fairlane and then you will need the front mould and probably have to get it painted so $48.00 plus $12.00 postage isn't that bad.

i went to my local wrecking yard picked up a set for 5 bucks, they didnt fit the front of the mould becasue they were shorter but they clipped in the back hole but as i was getting my car resprayed we just bogged the hole up and smoothed and painted it so either way your gonna be up for something like that.

i do plan on continuing to mod my car. but i wouldn't pay $48 for them. like smashley said he got a pair from the wreckers for $5 and only needed a bit of modifcation to look nice. it wouldnt cost me much more than that because iv got a heap of bog and paint left over from when i painted it

if i remember correctly, the streetlens dont come with the backing anyway so theres work to be done their

i picked up a pair of NF Fairlane indicators for $70 new from Ford and found one side clips in but the other side is to short for my standard fairmont moulds. So ran a bead of silicone around the whole thing and its sat fine for a couple years now

I would defiantly say finding a pair at the wreckers you would have to be damn lucky and then to pick them up for 5 bucks is just insane great pick up. I would highly doubt you will find something like that.

I bought some BA side indicators and moulded my ghia trims around them... the result is pretty good I think.. was a bit of work though as the BA lights are much shorter than the ghia ones were...

There is dust all over them as they've been sitting in here waiting for me to get the globe holders from a BA.. but still.. I like the end result I think.

Damn thats a lot of work looks pritty good but would be interesting to see how they look on the car. They might look a bit on the small side.

if that was the case, they'd look even smaller on a BA as it's a bigger car..

These are roughly the same width as the EL ones.. just about half an inch shorter.

As soon as I can find some BA/BF/AU globe holders.. I'll put them on and we can see. :-)

Yeah good point but you are used to seeing short ones higher on the ba guard and long ones on an ef-el. Not saying that it wont look good I actually thought of doing that the other day just saying it will look different from the norm

Good.... I like being different from the norm... I'm also trying to graft BF XR sideskirts and custom buiding an EL XR/BA GT hybrid bar..

Different from the norm is great.
