I'm in process of making clear taillights for the EB sedan.

Not altezza style, just clear lenses with coloured lights inside.

How are you going about doing that, got any photoshops??

Should be interesting... reminds of an EA I think it was, that had Chrome tinted tail lights.

Well, the EB sedan taillights are made of a clear outer lens, with a coloured inner lens.

Separate lenses from rest of taillight 9or on my case, get spare set of taillights, start destroying stuff), then get a dremel, and painstakingly cut away at the coloured inner lens until you have removed it from the clear outer lens.

Obtain coloured LED lights.

Attach clear lens to taillight assembly.

Atleast, the above is how I hope it will all work :)

there was a guy on FF or somewhere previously that did that wasnt there ?
or maybe it was on here ?
i actually thought it looked kinda tacky.
i reckon on a white car you should tint the tail lights, i love the darkended look!!

I have no idea how it will look, which is why I'm using a spare set of taillights, and not butchering the ones I have :)

If it doesn't turn out, I'll probably end up going tinted.

I don't know. When I try and visualise an EB/D with clear (frosted white actually, Altezza style 100% transparent lights need to die in the a*** and anyone even considering fitting them to a Ford should be taken out and shot :P ) indicators it looks like crap. It's even worse when you consider the Fairmont which have the reflective strips running across the entire length of the boot. Some designs just lend themselves to having clear indicators but the EB design isn't one of them IMO.
