Can someone get a side on shot of the whole car or a shot from the front looking down the car? I just want to see how they look in relation to the whole car. Darker coloured cars prefered :D

You ever going to get those bumpers painted properly? They look ridiculous, lol.

Not on EFs. On ELs, yes since they have the Fairlane mouldings already fitted but with EFs you have to buy, pain and fit the mouldings yourself. I put the Fairlane ones on my (EF) Fairmont wagon and although they do look great, they require a significant investment of time, money and effort to fit.

i wouldn't be buying those, considering they're AUII clear side indicators, and don't sit flush on the EF/EL's! :)

but mine are thoes ones that are longer and in the stripe, compared to the gli ones

Just to reiterate: The stock side marker lens is identical across all EF models as well as the EL Gli, Futura and XR only some models (like my EF Fairmont originally and your XR by the sound of it) surround it with a larger, body coloured moulding (the poverty packs only have a thin black seal around it). If you can find a set of the clear ones in the original style they should just drop in.

{USERNAME} wrote:
I have An EL Fairmont ... are you saying that the NF clear side one will fit straght into my EL :?: without replacing the moulding :?:

Should do. When I was researching what to do with the EF Fairmont it was mentioned in a couple of the posts I found both here and around the traps.

{USERNAME} wrote:
you can put the clear indicator in without the mould it will leave a little bit of a hole similar to the au clear indicators i think. one of mine isnt in the mould while im repainting it! looks ok im putting the mould back on though i think

He's not talking about putting it in without the moulding. His car already has the Fairlane moulding fitted making the replacement of the lens ridiculously cheap and easy.

Ok, so what i gather from this is that NF/NL Fairlane indicators will fit straight into an EL Fairmont??

Just want to be clear on this b4 i buy anything.

thanx
