Hey guys, i am looking for a set of the clear side repeaters to fit a 97 EL Gli. I am thinking of heading down to pick-a-part, what model falcon's would fit my car??

Also how hard is it to remove the old covers, and then installing the new clear version??

Thanks

Paul

the side indercators you want are of NF-NL FAIRLANES.
Good luck at finding them at the wreackers you would be better off ring around to see if they are avalible from the wreakers or get new from FORD.
Now they are piss easy to change over just rember to get the orange bulbs.

ratxr8, a guy on here and other forums, had replacements made up to fit exactly. Try track him down.

don't you need the side mouldings for NF/NL to get them to fit EF/EL?
I'm pretty sure there was a guy on here selling aftermarket straight swap clear ones for EF/EL for $70 a pair. Not that cheap but well worth it.

yeah, to make use of the Fairlane ones, you'll need the fat sid emouldings too. The guy I mentioned does the straight swap overs (I've got a set).

Otherwise, I've seen a set of AU3 clear covers on an EL, they 'sorta' fit. They look alright, unless you're looking closely.

I got mine about 8 months ago from this guy:

ratxr8@hotmail.com

Not sure if he still makes them but you can try sending him an email.

I contacted this guy in May, requesting a set. He said that he will be sending a reply when he has any further details regarding them. I sent him another e-mail in july, asking him what is happening. He replied with when he finds out off the manufacturer, he will let me know.
I am still waiting for the details of when they will available. I guess that you'll be waiting for a while too.

Took me about 4 months from the time I first emailed him to the time I finally got them. But the end result is worth the effort. :)
