i got AUIII ones in mine. i think thas what most people do. there is a slight modification to make them fit. i just filed the mould a little bit. and i think the grommet on the wiring has to be cut to fit

Thanks, I 'll pop the ones out of my AU1 and see if they fit. Then buy a couple. Any idea how much they sell for?

If you want to mount them the right way forward, some filing/drilling/grinding of a the panel hidden behind the guard is needed as well.
It's hard to explain, and there was supposed to be a doco put up about it, but I dunno what happened to it...
If you buy them, then take your old ones off and try to fit the AUIII ones, you'll see exactly what has to be done.

i can tell you how to mount backwards, i cudnt b bothered modding them to fit fowards, all up around $41 from ford with globes. remove your old indicator, put new orange globe in, your globe holder has 4 tabs, they are rubber, you need to cut 2 of them off and file them flush to fit the au lamp cover, it should look like this -- not this + ;) well u get the idea, well u will wen u c it. anyway then the new lamp covers clip in backwards, or u can modify to fit fowards, very easy and good looking mod :P

i attacked mine with a file and they fit the right way round.
it is hard to explain but as said, best to look for your self. you will work out what has to be filed. i didnt have to file any part of the actual guard thoughy. just the moulding

How'd you manage that?
Have you got pics?
I had to file a bit off the moulding, but also had to attack the panel behind the guard to get the clip in all the way.

Ha ha ha ha!
I considered doing that, cause I thought it might just slip in, but I was afraid I'd break the clip and have to fork out to fraud for another bloody pair.
