Nope, thank f**k!
Imagine if some t*** brought them out, we'd have riced up looking POS's everywhere..
If you really want them you may have to make them yourself!
Id just go the opposite to clear tail lights if you want something different, TINT them instead maybe.

Imagine clear taillights on EB-ED they'd look s**t as the fake light stuff inbetween the tail lights (you know where the number plate is) would still be normal!
Might be alright on an EA though as they don't have that bit, there's is just bodycoloured or grey...

ditto.
If the tail lights are tinted does it obscure the brake lights? Is this legal?

It depends on how dark u make them, you can have them slightly darker or full on black.
Obviously the darker the tint the darker the light and the more noticable for cops.

Those Alteza Lights (think thats what there called) are shockers. Seen them on VP & VS Commies and they are absolute ricers. Go for tinted tail lights.

I hope you people with tinted tail lights aren't paying for insurance. I would be saving my money to pay out on the legal costs and damages to the victim if somebody runs into you. Tinting doubly reduces the reflectiveness of the builtin reflector as light has to travel into the taillight assembly then back out again. Its not just emission of light, its entrance and re-emission. This is why many of those stupid ricey tailights are illegal, simply because they have an inadequate reflector.

Insurance takes a very clear stand on illegally modified tail/brake lights. Willfully altered lights to reduce or alter brightness will often result in a claim being refused, even if somebody has run into you, making you liable as you have hindered the ability of others to see your lights. You can get very shafted even if the accident is entirely not your fault.

I've seen it happen, seen a person go bankrupt because somebody ran into him (in an EA) and he couldn't afford the five figure sums to pay for the legal costs and injury to the party that ran into him.

Nevermind the fact it makes you look like a retard either.... Do you really want to take the risk of this, let alone looking stupid with tinted lights?

hmmm, well ill be completely honest with you, those clear lights, and those tinted ones are all good and whatever, but nothing beats brand new lights, the stock ones, im gunna put a new headlight on the falcon as the drivers side was replaced not that long ago after my mother hit a vw.

and i spose if i want to ill replace the skins of the rear lights and put ner bulbs in em, imo, when they were new, the stock lights are usually the best looking ones you can get.

say whats everyones opinion on driving lights??

as much as they look kewl, i cannot stand them on the road, theyre so blinding and they do not improve visibility that much other than causing other motorists extreme discomfort.
