I was looking on Carsales at ED Sprints and found this colbalt blue one, anyone know why the door handles have faded like that?

different paint/primer for the plastic handles? IIRC someone was asking a lil while back why bumpers fade at a different rate to the rest of the car

Yep, supposedly (according to a dodgy a** panel beater) they didn't get painted as well... whatever that means...
They fade pretty quick, but there's a pro to it.
It's a good way of telling if the car's been garaged or not.

How much do you reckon to get them fixed?

Probably easiest to buy another set, get 'em painted, then swap them over.
I'm just getting the whole car resprayed this year, so I'll do mine then.
Keep in mind though, that if the handles are that faded, the whole car will be faded as well.
Cobalt Blue doesn't fade that bad, but put an ungaraged car next to a garaged one and the difference is amazing...
You can see the difference in this photo...

Both Cobalt Blue, paint code C9. 100% :D
Mind you, the paint doesn't LOOK faded on the 'mont, but compared to the Sprint it looks shocking.
Cobalt Blue is one of those colours that doesn't show up fading really bad.
Not like red, or that awful light blue in the VN's.
