just get some wet and dry sandpaper and use it wet lightly sand it back and make it smooth then get some wax and grime remover and clean it with that and than wipe it dry with a new and clean rag and then you can put some undercoat on it if you like and than the colour and then the top clear coat but it each coat dry b4 doing the next coat ok

As mentioned, also the mirrors will prise out.
Also use plastic primer on the black plastic.

This is what i did when i did mine a few months back.

- Sanded with 320 gritt paper (i had tones of chips!)
- Wax and grease remover to clean the mirrors
- Tack rag to get all dust and any other crap off the mirrors
- 2 coats of plastic primmer
- 1 dust coat of colour
- 1 heavy coat of colour
- 1 dust coat of clear
- 1 heavy coat of clear
- Then leave to dry and re-fit to car

If you spray 2 heavy coats of colour and clear the paint will fry up!

Good Luck!
