Hyena, I was a bit worried about what people would think cause its almost identical color to yours, as in not wanting to copy. In direct sunlight it looks purple while at night when its parked under lights it looks more like a dark blue. If I had more time I would have tried out different undercoats for the pearl.

nicco it'll be there on monday for sure. Just need to give it a wash and some more cutting and polishing. Theres a few areas that I cringe at but aren't really noticeable unless pointed out.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Heh, that's alright mate, the rest of it is different enough that I don't have to take out a contract on your life
(that's why I didn't go with the XR front end, it looks good but I wanted something different)

samftr, the roof lining was hanging down when I purchased the car last july in but since then its been retrimmed profesionally so its all good. Havn't been to any drags yet, wheres bohle?

80crm, I'm heading back to Townsville today(Friday) and I'll probly be passin through Cairns around lunch time so if your available around then that'd be mad. Only thing is the rear would be a few inches lower with all the stuff I gotta take back.

Cheers
Dominic

bohles outside of townsville. where the townsville dragways are. off the highway as you head down from cairns. umm its down bohle river road i think. there is a race track out there too, only small one but it would be a fun place to take the car as opposed to savannah lol.. other way to get out there is going along dalrymple road and head towards the north side of town, the road will go into a single laned bizzo and if you head out that way its a fair way out but on the right. ask some locals they'll know where it is.

yeah, once every month or two they hold a sprint meeting on it, 2 cars going for 5 or 6 laps. looks like fun, but i need a car before i do that. used to race the karts there but.

yeah, ive been down the strip a few times. best run atm is a 15.95 but that track is slippery!! lol

if your up a bit earlier than chrissy give us a yell, might have to head out for a FM drag meet! lol

It looks like a nice day in Townsville :)
Shame the sun is in the wrong spot (at the back of the car). Would have been nice to see the whole car sparkle from the side.
Still looks schmick!
