hey all, i have a very rare kit on my falcon, its not quite an XR kit and its not quite a Tickford one... no one so far can tell me what kit it is. it has USC written in it, yet no one can find information on this company.

now i have had multiple people PM me about where i got the kit from, the front and side skirts were on a car i bought and the rear was found on ebay named a XR kit but from looking at it its FAR from an XR kit... (see pics)

i want to copy this kit from a fibreglasser for my dad and any other members on here who want kits.

my dad has informed me i need t check if its patent?? ect so i dont get sued for doing it. the only other way is to change it in a few ways...

can anyone help me out in how to go about checking on if i can legally copy this kit and resell the copies?

this is an XR kit

and this is my kit - you can see the differences

USC went out of business.
i've seen a few cars with them, but they're not overly common.

USC was "United Sports Cars" of Taren Point, Sydney. They went bust about 7 years ago and not too soon. Their stuff was pretty poor. The kit is a slight variation of the factory Sprint and XR kits.
Actually, the air dam on the blue car is a Sprint. Yours is closer to the XR
I can do stuff closer to genuine than that kit for far less than it'll cost to make moulds off the USC bits.
Cheers, Bob

i wouldn't worry about infringing copyright in this case. USC are long gone and at any rate, they wouldn't have bothered getting that design registered. Very few do.
