sorry 2 steal the thread away from you here...
but i heard that csa rims arent all that good? i have a mate who tricked out his AU (back when he had it, he now has a Subaru Liberty GT Premium pack, and he had a set of csa rims on it and he told me that they are really poorly made. ie, they bend out of shape quite easily.
is this true?

lol yer good point

the place i get my rims from sells my rims (csa gladiators) for 275 each, and i think most of their range was roughly the same price, so id say ud be looking at around the 300 or less mark per rim, assuming prices would be similar all over the place

A dealer up in Maitland says he can do 4 rims with rubber (Nixxon or something like that, apparently compares to hankooks etc.) for $1580.00. Where did you guys get yours for $1400.00?

I was at beau's not long ago, and they quoted me $1595 for 17x8 CSA's (not Edge though) with Sava Intensa Rubber.

We fitted the Edges to the wifes EL with These Sava tyres for $1600 almost 2 years ago now. Havnt had any dramas with the wheels being buckled or going out of balance. And I chose the Savas because Ive had them on my car for a few years now and think theyre tops for under $200 each.

I sell alot of CSA alloys and they are one of the strongest with great backup and support aswell as ROH. Rims of all types are subject to buckle if they r treated hard and potholes hit instead of avoiding them if possible. But the well known brands are pretty solid but all wheels sold in australia meet the aus standards so they all should be built and tested to deliver the strengths required. But if u treat the rims hard...they hate it!!
