s**t, reminds me of the SSV kit that I wanted to get... but more rounded... very interesting design!
I dunno if I like or not yet... suits the ED grille though Cheers

YES! That looks good!
Write up a doco on it as soon as your done, so the rest of us EA-D owners can try this out. Did you just plastic weld the brackets from an EA-D onto the EF bumper? (Its not that simple is it? ) Keep those pics coming in!

nah it wasnt that simple (i wish) i ended up cutting the EA bar 1inch below the groove in it (just below the grey part) and cut the EF bar directly below the black stripe, then screwed them together from the front so i had a 1 inch overlap, then fiberglassed it from behind bar, removed the screws and sanded (with a 4 1/2 inch grinder with a flapper wheel) the seam so it blended in, then fiberglassed the front of the seam, then bogged it all up (my fiberglassing was all wavy like) and sanded and sanded and sanded, and tommorrow i will sand some more and use some more bog, then prime and paint. im not writning a tute snce im not sure i did this the best way, and i didnt take any pics of the process, and anyone needing a tute to do it shouldnt be attempting it (i had a low moment while i was doing it that i thought i was in over my head.) so its not for the feint hearted
it weighs about 50% more than the standard cover, and im gonna have to figure out how to reinforce it a bit cos im not sure if its gonna come apart or not. it looks a lot like the EB GT bar, (side vents are round on GT) it looks REAL butch on the car, i love it.

Take note, to try it out while take a long time, oull need to know what youre doing, and youll need a suitable ef/el bumper, and an EA - ED bumper as well.

yeh, it is quite a lot fo work to do (especially getting it nice and flat) and you do need two whole bumpers, i just had em lying around (but you may be able to get a couple of damaged ones for free), plus there is almost $100 worth of, fiberglass, sand paper, filler, spray putty, primer and paint.
also, i suggest you do it with your car handy, cos when i first test fitted it (pre fiberglassing) i had to adjust it (wasnt sitting right under the indicators). i had my stepdad around who knows a fair bit more about fiberglassing and panel repair/finishing so i found out a lot of hints from him. it primed and partway through being painted now, im trying to get it done before the all ford day (as well as install my elec windows, and fix all the little probs with my car).

LOL, yeh says you, mr bumper cutting and pasting expert, i found the hardest part was getting it all flat so there were no ripples (which i failed to do properly, but i will be fixing soon - but unfortunately not before the geelong all ford day) finished pic is in this link: http://mikejose.tripod.com/Frontbar.htm (scroll down)
the whole way home after id fitted it i was waiting for the "rip" and crunching/dragging sound, luckily i didnt.
